There are a few pieces of Novakid-related Cosmetic Armors to be found scattered across the universe. While race-specific crafted items can be traded between characters of different races and used freely, there is currently no mechanism to allow a character to craft other races' unique items, or obtain a different Ship (and Ship Pet) in any capacity, without modding the game.

Their stats are the same for all other race's equipment at the same Tier. The Novakid equipment is very Old West, with hide-leather clothes and wide-brimmed hats. So if you wanted to dump both your character and the template at the same time, you could add both lines into the same batch file like so:Īs with the other player races, Novakid characters are given a set of uniquely-styled Armors, their own Ship type (with included Pet), and two unique Mech bodies. However, as mentioned, the system can execute as many commands as you place in the file, in sequence. You need to take note of the id of both your character and the template character. So it takes the least effort to dress you characters. An you only need to create the wardrobe as it should be mapped to the bones. This way you can have multiple appearances for the same animation. The animation is separated from the appearance, thus you create the animation using bones and can map different images on these bones. In the game, these spritesheets are drawn on top of each other. You then create a separate spritesheet with the exact layout for each piece of equipment. You have a spritesheet for the 'naked' player-character which is fully animated. This simplifies complex item modifications. Other internal information and stats are displayed as well. You can add and modify items easily, along with accessing the raw item JSON of each individual slot in a file. Starcheat is a player save editor for Starbound that gives you greater control over characters, mainly their inventories. You can just edit back or use Notepad++ to fix this. The game won't recognize the player file, but it won't delete it. This special character is important because it won't work if you just type 'casual' in a regular text editor and leave the invisible BS before it. Open the desired player file (you can figure out which one you want by looking at last modified date) with Notepad++ or a similar text editor which lets you see the special characters. But if you don't mind cheating these official rules, you can find your character save file in this folder (or its equivalent in other OSes): You can't change the difficulty by design after you create the character.
